KIMPTON HOTEL'S SOCIAL SERVICE

Kimpton Hotels in Chicago, D.C., San Diego...I wanted to stay at one of their hotels because I had read a great story about their CEO (who is now at another hotel chain) and because they are pet friendly. I booked my first Kimpton stay in D.C. Before my stay, I tweeted the hotel saying I was looking forward to my stay and they responded back right away telling me to use them for any advice I needed about attractions in the area. When I arrived at the hotel, the front desk lady was very friendly and courteous and mentioned that their GM had upgraded me as a way to say thank you for the kind tweet! Little things during that stay made me Kimpton loyal, inlcuding the "Raid the Mini Bar" coupon for being a loyalty member and the wine hour (and kindness of all employees, and being pet friendly). During my Chicago Kimpton stay, I had also tweeted them saying I was looking forward to my visit. I also received an upgrade and a nice note in my hotel room that said "thank you for tweeting us" as well as a bottle of wine. Little touches during each visit ensure that I'll seek out a Kimpton stay wherever they are located, regardless of price.
